Tinnitus is not a disorder or disease. It is not a negative phenomenon. Modern science declares that tinnitus is a disorder. Science has theories of its origin, but still no real "cure" for it.

Many religions have different names for this "sound". The Bible refers to it as the "Word", Vedic (Hindu) religions have several names for it including Nada, Shabd, Pranava, Om. The whole Sikh religion is fundamentally built off this sound. The ancient Greeks refer to this sound as "Music of the Spheres".

You cannot "get rid" of this sound. It can leave on its own, and you hear no sound, but attempting to try and get rid of it will always lead to failure.

Not everyone hears it, so if you hear it consider yourself blessed because Divinity has reached you. It's up to you if you want to reach back. You can resist it. Or accept it.

Listen to it. That is the only requirement on this spiritual path. You will recognize an inner treasure after surrender and sincerity. This treasure, which is embedded into your being — only a few recognize it. Only through the spiritual highway (sound of silence) can one reach the door of divinity (Kingdom of God). This door must be opened from the inside. The Word will show the way. You must acknowledge it (by listening).

Those who know of the mystery of the sound, knows the mystery of the whole universe.
